1. You may want to print this page to use as a reference when you are offline.
2. Double-click the DNC or DNCS.exe (Server Version) program file on your hard disk to start the Setup program.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

Helpful tips for Network Installation:

Please be patient with first time installs - the initial installation will take up to 3 minutes.  The Microsoft Installer and the .Net files are being brought up to date.

DNCS.exe must be run from the server.  The Area Code database will be installed here.  The server can also be used as a client if necessary.


You can install the DNC.exe on each client station.  Once installed pull down the Utilities menu option to connect to the Area Code database on the server.  Mapped drives are not necessary.

You must register with the FTC to gain access to the Federal Registry. This will allow you to access the area code lists.  This list are available in comma format.

PLEASE NOTE: If you download your area code lists manually, you must UNZIP them.  There are in compressed format when you download.

Download the Area Codes of choice and unzip them.  Use the Utilities Tab on the toolbar to update your lists.  If you are using the network version, you must do this at the server.

Each server and client must be registered and receive an unlock code. This is an easy process. Go to the Unlock choice under the Utilities Tab.  You must copy the License code and paste it to the License code on the order form.  You will be sent an email with the unlock code.
